A Little Change Can Have A Big Impact
At South Carolina Federal, we believe small actions can lead to big changes. As a member-owned financial institution that has served the Lowcountry for more than 85 years, we operate under the philosophy of "People Helping People," and take great pride in our commitment to that belief.
This December, we’re excited to launch Perfect ₵ents, a unique opportunity for our members to make a meaningful impact on deserving children in our communities. By simply using your South Carolina Federal credit or debit card online or in-store from December 1 to December 20, we will donate two cents per transaction (up to $35,000) to seven Title I schools in the markets we serve. Now that's a lot of pennies!
With your help, each of these deserving schools will receive $5,000:
- Jackson Creek Elementary School (Columbia)
- Jesse S. Bobo Elementary School (Spartanburg)
- North Vista Elementary School (Florence)
- Plantersville Elementary School (Georgetown)
- Simmons-Pinckney Middle School (Charleston)
- Socastee Elementary School (Myrtle Beach)
- Thomas E. Kerns Elementary School (Greenville)
This is a small act with the potential for significant change, and your part in helping make this happen is easy! Your everyday purchases will help provide students with essential resources, from supplies and uniforms to food pantries and positive behavior incentives, ensuring they receive what they need as they reach for success.
We’ll keep you updated on our progress, so be sure to follow the journey on our Facebook and Instagram. Watch as we inch closer to our goal of $35,000, and celebrate the collective impact on our communities.
We can’t achieve our goal without your help. It’s as easy as choosing your South Carolina Federal card from December 1-20 when you buy groceries, fill up at the gas pump, and purchase holiday gifts. Together, we can create change, one cent at a time.
