South Carolina Federal Awarded "Site of the Month" for New Website

In July, we launched a new version of our public-facing website, scfederal.org. We are thrilled to share that our website has been honored with a "Site of the Month" award from Kentico, a leading website content management system. Every month, Kentico recognizes websites across all industries for best-in-class functionality, user experience, and design.

Our previous website was launched in 2006, and though it sufficiently met our needs, we decided to completely redesign the site to offer an enhanced online experience for our members and update the design to reflect our current brand. Additionally, we wanted to improve functionality across the site and more effectively highlight who we are and what we do for our members.

The new scfederal.org features:

• More convenient access to Online Banking with a login button on every page of the site
• Improved search functionality to help users find what they're looking for faster than ever
• A security center with useful tips and tricks to help keep their accounts safe, as well as information about what to do if you've experienced fraud

Since the launch of our new site, we saw a 30% increase in monthly engagement compared to our previous website. We have also received very positive feedback about the design from employees, members, and even non-members.

Tens of thousands of people use our website every month to learn more about our credit union, check current interest rates, find a local financial center, access financial wellness content, and much more. We are proud to offer an optimal online experience for everyone who visits our site, regardless of where they go after the homepage.
