This special type of account awards high dividends with the convenience of limited check-writing privileges. Money market accounts pay higher dividends than share savings or checking accounts, and an even higher dividend rate is awarded when your balance is greater than $10,000.
A minimum of $1,000 is required to open the account and you are allowed six free withdrawals per month.*
