Guidelines for Community Involvement Support

We believe our "best fit" opportunities for Community Involvement reach a broad spectrum of residents, with emphasis in three primary areas:

1) health and wellness,

2) youth and education,

 3) chamber of commerce and community relationships.   

We give primary consideration to non-profit (i.e., 501c3) organizations in support of initiatives that directly relate to simplifying peoples’ lives and that help participants be “one step ahead” in critical areas of life.

Our guidelines help South Carolina Federal Credit Union assure that donations are used in ways that best serve the majority of our membership. These guidelines may not cover every possibility, special need or opportunity, and South Carolina Federal may make exceptions when considering donations.   South Carolina Federal does not make corporate donations that directly benefit an individual, or to organizations with political initiatives or affiliations.

Things to know if you would like South Carolina Federal to support your organization or event:

  • Use our Community Involvement Request Form to submit your requests via email at least 90 days in advance of your event or program.   
  • If you prefer, you may complete the Community Involvement Request Form, print it and mail it to the address below, along with additional information supporting your organization and event.
